Tutoring Principles of Bio Biochemistry Nutrition About Me

ALL OF MY COURSES ARE EITHER WEB-ASSISTED, HYBRID, OR DISTANCE. YOU MUST HAVE AND MAINTAIN A BLACKBOARD ACCOUNT THROUGHOUT THE SEMESTER.

***SPECIAL NOTE FOR POTENTIAL STUDENTS OF SUMMER BIOCHEMISTRY***

If you do not need to take biochemistry during the summer, I recommend that you postpone taking it until the fall. Two daytime, and one evening course are being offered in the fall 2008 semester. The average student can not expect a grade of above a C without putting in several hours of work per day, during the summer semester. I give you this warning to save you your money. This is a difficult course for most students and requires double the effort of the usual 3-credit course. Additionally, the school does not fund tutoring during the summer.

If you have recently finished chemistry, principles of biology and maybe even anatomy and physiology 1, you are not the average student, and you are better prepared to take biochemistry during the summer.

I am happy to have you all, summer, fall or spring. I just ask that you make an informed decision.

Happy Summer!

Read or listen to this from the NPR site, from the current series "This I Believe." Science Nourishes the Mind and the Soul. Or enjoy this excerpt which I fully embrace.

"I believe the process of going from confusion to understanding is a precious, even emotional, experience that can be the foundation of self-confidence. I believe that through its rational evaluation of truth and indifference to personal belief, science transcends religious and political divisions and so does bind us into a greater, more resilient whole."
