Web-Assisted Class

This class is designated as a web-assisted class because certain components and activities of the class will be only available online.  For example, exam study sheets and lecture notes may be available online.  In addition, there will be some quizzes taken online, outside of the class meeting times.  There also may be online homework assignments. 

The class has a webpage that can be access at: http://faculty.stcc.edu/rapp/biol_140.htm 

Some components of the course will only be available on Blackboard, an online resource that allows password-protected access to notes, graded homework and quizzes.  To access these components of the course, you need to log into the course on Blackboard.  Instructions are included below:

Link to the college Blackboard site. The address is:  http://stcc.blackboard.com/

Login using your WebAdvisor username and your student ID# as your password.

If you don't have your WebAdvisor username you can follow the link below to request it.  (your username should be your first initial, middle initial and last name) https://www.stcc.edu/webadvisor/request_a_pin.asp

Please note that the password for blackboard is your student ID number using the numbers after the zeroes which can be found on your Student ID card.

Example ID# 0012345 is a password of 12345
