Schedule Fall 2008

Welcome to the homepage for all of my classes!  Click on the image (or text) below to choose the class you want to visit:

Anatomy & Physiology I and II (BIOL 132 & 232)

Principles of Biology I (BIOL 102)

Cell Biology (BIOL 351)

To reach me, the best way is to e-mail me!

Please note that I am currently teaching fewer classes than usual because I have received two National Science Foundation (NSF) grants that I am working on.  Because of this, I have not taught Anatomy & Physiology in over two years.  I will be returning to a full teaching load some time around the Fall of 2010 and will update the A&P pages at that time.

If you are interested in finding out more about one of my NSF projects, you can go to its website.  This particular project is funded by the Research in Disability Education (RDE) program of the NSF and its goal is to make sciences and math more accessible to all students, regardless of disability; it is our hope that our project will uncover a way to increase the success of students in the science and math classes.

Please keep in mind that both the Principles of Biology website and the Anatomy & Physiology website were originally designed for distance education, but I have discontinued teaching distance.  Principles of Biology is being offered by another faculty member (Michele Nash) as a hybrid course (lecture online, lab in person).  We will be offering our environmental biology class entirely online and, in the future, the principles of biology 2 class will also be entirely online.

Also, the Cell Biology links are very basic.  The class is only offered in the Spring semester, so the pages will only be maintained and updated during the spring.

This photo was taken at my birthday party December, 2005.  I will have to update it soon.

You are the Hit Counter visitor to my home page.  Thanks for visiting!
