Products of Two Binomials Using FOIL:

To multiply two polynomials (a + b)(c + d), multiply the First terms (a Eq10077.gif (98 bytes)c), the Outside terms (a Eq10077.gif (98 bytes)d), the Inside terms         ( b Eq10077.gif (98 bytes) c), and then the Last terms (b Eq10077.gif (98 bytes) d). Then collect like terms. The FOIL method is one of the most popular methods to multiply two binomials.
